After watching the P90x infomercial several times, I decided to give it a try.
As of January 2011 I've completed my 4th round of P90x. After the first round, I felt great and was strong but I hadn't really lost any weight because I didn't follow the diet. For the 2nd go, I stuck to a good diet using the P90x nutritional guide. I can't stress how important this is. I really started to see the results then. Once you start the program, it becomes a way of life. I know it sounds cliche, but at 44 years old I'm in way better shape than I was at 24!
In one year I lost 27 lbs and my LDL cholesteral went from 230 to 111.
One thing I've learned along the way is that it is hard to get all the nutrition you need without going over your appropriate daily calorie count. That is why I supplement with Vemma, one of the best supplements I've ever used.
